Camilla Masala

Camilla is a service designer with a background in product design. In 2006 she graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan where she specialised in service design focusing on sustainable development.

After experience in the furniture industry in Milan, she started working for Experientia as a service designer and researcher.
For Experientia she has worked on research projects mainly focused on developing markets and mobile communications. She was also involved in concept generation processes for some international telecommunication companies. Camilla is very interested in understanding people because she believes that people are a key factor in every design process.

If you focus on people you cannot ignore the complex social-environmental context in which they live. Thinking in terms of ecosystem should be a priority within a design process. Global challenges and sustainable development have created new opportunities to develop original design approaches and reconsider the overall paradigm of design.
