Alessandra has lived for a year and a half in Shanghai, where she attended the PoliTong program – a double master’s degree in Design and Innovation at Tongji University. She graduated in Product Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano and discussed her thesis about sexuality in China, designing a product service system for Chinese women to instill the concept of sexual wellness.
Charmed by intercultural consumer behaviour studies and by the strength of social innovation, she believes research is a the most effective way to better understand consumers.
Alessandra is a user experience designer, focusing on how to connect research with the design phase. She has lectured on social innovation at Politecnico di Milano and is currently lecturing on Concept generation and envisioning for a master’s about sustainable energy at Politecnico di Torino.
Aside from her mother tongue Italian, Alessandra speaks fluent English and basic Chinese.
